Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (DPU), Pimpri, Pune, is a distinguished deemed-to-be university committed to excellence in education, research, healthcare and professional development. Established in 2003 under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, the university began with Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre and has steadily expanded into a multidisciplinary institution with a wide range of academic and professional programmes.

Today, DPU brings together 15 constituent institutions and specialised centres covering diverse fields such as Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Optometry, Biotechnology, Management, Ayurved, Homeopathy, Design, Allied Health Sciences, Liberal Arts, Science & Technology, Online Learning and Skill Development. This multidisciplinary ecosystem provides students with opportunities to learn in an environment that encourages academic interaction, professional development and innovation.
